Peak and Dales Medical Partnership is a high performing and innovative partnership in Derbyshire with 2 practices both of which have outstanding CQC ratings. Due to the announced retirement of our highly respected partnership manager, we are looking to recruit a business manager with experience of working in a senior management role, ideally in the NHS or General Practice.
You will be a committed, motivated and approachable member of the practice team. You will be a confident and effective leader and have a strong grasp of complex financial management and compliance responsibilities. You will lead and manage all the HR, legal, regulatory and contractual domains within the practice/business. We encourage a strong work ethic and willingness to go that extra mile to help sustain and advance both the clinical and financial standards. You will have the support of an extensive and experienced team and will lead by example, being open and honest.
In return, we offer a friendly and welcoming place to work with a supportive and inclusive culture. We understand the importance of a work/life balance and can offer personal and professional development and an excellent remuneration package to include the NHS pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.
Bakewell and Tideswell are in Derbyshire, about a 15-20-minute drive apart. We are fortunate to be based in the beautiful Peak District National Park which is a great place to work and live. There are excellent opportunities for walking, climbing, cycling and numerous other outdoor activities. Bakewell is on the banks of the river Wye sitting midway between Buxton to the north and Matlock to the south. It is just off the A6, so would be an enjoyable and easy commute from many nearby cities – Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham. The town’s medieval stone bridge, quaint courtyards and shopping opportunities attract many sightseers. Tideswell is a smaller village with a strong sense of community. It boasts a magnificent church known as the ‘Cathedral of the Peak’ as its most well-known landmark, and there are numerous cafes, shops and pubs providing for tourists and locals alike.
