NHS England has launched a programme to employ a further 1,500 clinical pharmacists in general practice in England over the next 3 years in line with the 5 year forward view and the General Practice forward view.
PICS runs a number of GP surgeries in Nottinghamshire. This positions will be based in general practice, Pharmacists will be delivering a range of patient facing services in general practice as outlined in the job description and person specification. Each pharmacist will work closely with a GP mentor in the practice. Full training and induction will be provided.
We are seeking applications from highly motivated, experienced and personable Pharmacists interested in developing their career and providing patient facing services. Applicants should be prepared to undertake any necessary training required. Applicants for all of the posts are likely to either have the independent prescribing qualification or will be required to be working towards it.
