Primary Integrated Community Services are an innovative and rapidly expanding primary care organisation that also runs a number of GP practices within Nottinghamshire. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Whyburn Medical Practice Hucknall Nottingham.

A successful applicant will have a flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking approach with the skills, knowledge and experience required to fulfil the job description. Expertise in the management of long term conditions is required. A non-medical prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential.

Whyburn Medical Practice has just under 12,000 patients and will be operated under PICS from 1 June 2019 who will support the management and HR for the practice.
Whilst based at one practice, there may be a need for the post holder to occasionally work at other PICS practices in Nottinghamshire, therefore full driving licence and sole access to a suitable vehicle is essential.

PICS is a GP owned organisation that provides a wide range of services in primary and community care with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of all our patients and their families. These services are provided in a range of settings including people’s own homes and GP surgeries. Our focus is on delivering all care as close to home as possible.

You will need to meet the following essential clinical criteria:

  • Independent Non Medical Prescriber and evidence of working autonomously at an Advanced level of Practice.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is required and sole access to a suitable vehicle.
