Salaried GP - Ashfield House Surgery

We are waiting for the right GP to join our small practice team based in Annesley Woodhouse. Start date negotiable.

We value excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills, who would integrate well with the clinical team with active contribution to continuing practice development. We will support the successful candidate with further training as needed.

We are a supportive, forward-thinking practice, and have a friendly patient population who value continuity of care. Our surgery has 2 partners, namely 2 portfolio GPs. We are supported by 2 advanced nurse practitioners, 1 practice nurse and 1 health care assistant. There is a community care nurse and home visit support from PICS. We are a training practice for the Mansfield VTS GP specialist trainees and Nottingham medical student placements. We are also a level one Research Practice and a Tier three diabetic centre.

• Collaborative working with clinical pharmacists, physiotherapist, social prescribers, and mental health practitioner employed by our Ashfield South PCN.

Annesley Woodhouse is a suburban village just north of Nottingham and is close to the M1, A38, Sheffield and the Peak District. Our practice population is circa 6000 patients with a mix of elderly residents and young families. Our close-knit team of reception and administrative staff are on hand to offer support.
