Practice Liaison Officer, Nottinghamshire LMC

Nottinghamshire LMC is the independent body recognised in statute as representing the interests of NHS General Practitioners in Nottinghamshire.
Due to changes within the LMC team, we are looking to employ a practice liaison officer to work closely supporting our practices and ensuring that our profile is improved and maintained. The successful candidate will work in a practice-facing role where they can expect to be working out and about across the whole of our area of responsibility which encompasses the whole of Nottinghamshire and Bassetlaw including the city of Nottingham. They must be confident and flexible with excellent verbal, writing and IT skills and be able to build and maintain relationships with practices and other stakeholders. A working knowledge of NHS primary care is essential, experience of general practice in particular is desirable.
The post is full-time, nominally 37.5 hours per week, but the post-holder is also expected to attend occasional evening meetings (overtime paid). The employment package includes five weeks’ holiday and superannuation equivalent to 14% of basic salary.
